The Executive Committee of Delhi High Court Bar Association in its emergent meeting held on 20.7.2010 passed the following resolutions:- Resolved that the sad demise of Mr. Milon K. Banerjee, Sr. Advocate & Former Attorney General of India has brought to an end of era. Members placed on record the services rendered by Mr. Banerjee to the Government of India and to the cause of justice delivery system. Resolved that the sad demise of Sh. K.K.Sareen, Chairman – Bar Council of Delhi, under whose leadership, the Bar Council has been progressing towards the upliftment and welfare of the lawyers; The dispensation of justice and growth of lawyers fraternity would suffer great set back. Members expressed their heart-felt condolences with the bereaved families and pray to the Almighty God to bestow courage to their families to bear this loss, which cannot be fulfilled. Members further unanimously resolved that the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court be requested to kindly convene a full court reference in honour and memory of Late Sh. Milon K. Banerjee, Sr. Advocate & Former Attorney General of India and Late Sh.K.K.Sareen, Chairman, Bar Council of Delhi.
